My most recent purchase is a hot pink leopard Hot Tools Professional Ionic hair dryer. Its badass. It weighs 1/10th as much as my old hair dryer, dries my hair in half the time and clearly says ‘I do hair’. Even though I don’t. I’m mostly hair retarded. I grew up using the air dry method which equates to homeless hair. Fortunately I have straight hair that is indifferent to weather, hair product and skill so even when I don’t blow dry my hair it still looks alright. Alright to me. Girls that actually do hair often look disapprovingly my way.
But who can compete with salon girls? Free and/or heavily discounted product, skill, product, skill. Tough call.
Nonetheless I am insprired by my new hair dryer. I have a cabinet full of new hair products and a desire to be pretty. World watch out!
